What is WMU Giving Day?
For one 24-hour period, thousands of alumni, fans, friends and others help make a difference for Western Michigan University, and for current and future Broncos, through the power of collective giving.

On April 17, your contribution can have an even bigger impact than usual, thanks to some generous supporters who will provide challenge funds. By making a gift, you can help your favorite areas of WMU win these special funds. Throughout the day, leaderboards will show progress in real time, and challenges and games will add to the fun and excitement.

One hundred percent of your gift goes directly to the area, initiative or cause that you choose. (You name it!) There are some 2,000 different funds that touch every area of campus, from academic colleges and departments to specialized scholarships and student support programs to athletics and beyond.
All gifts, in some way, not only support student success and help Broncos graduate ready-made for their next chapter, but also enhance programs and experience-driven opportunities at the University. Plus, the colleges and units that win Giving Day challenges will receive bonus funds that support their annual funds. -
1. On April 17, 2024, you can make your gift here from anywhere in the world between 12 a.m. and 11:59 p.m.
2. While we encourage you to make your gift online on April 17, you can also mail checks made out to the WMU Foundation (include WMU Giving Day in the memo line). Checks must be received before 5 p.m. on April 17 to count toward Giving Day 2024. Our mailing address is:

If you work for a matching gift company, you can double or sometimes triple the impact of your gift. Please check with your human resources office for matching gift information and forms.
