Increasing the number of donors to the University will help to raise our ranking in definitive publications such as U.S. News & World Report, thereby increasing the value of a degree from WMU. Additionally, the landscape of higher education has shifted over the years, changing the obstacles students face to complete their degrees. Giving to WMU helps to elevate the student experience in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. All gifts, in any amount, make a difference in the lives of students at Western Michigan University and help to enhance campus in general.

More than 3/4 of all WMU students receive some sort of financial support from the University, and much of that support comes from donor-generated giving. All gifts, in some way, support student success and help students graduate ready to get a job they will love.
Gifts in any amount are welcome and will make an impact in the lives of students and on campus in general.
If you or your spouse work for a matching gift company, you can double or sometimes triple the amount of your gift. Please check with your human resources office for matching gift information and forms.
